LIS inaugurates new office building
Logistische Informationssysteme (LIS) has inaugurated its new office building, the third on this site, in Greven (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany). From now on, around 40 programmers and developers will be working in the 1,200 sqm building.
With the new building, the software specialist provides additional space in response to the increasing number of orders and confirms its commitment to the Greven location. "We want our employees to feel comfortable working here. They require not only ergonomic and well-equipped working stations, but also room to retreat," says Magnus Wagner, CEO at LIS.
Besides offices, the new building also features a 200 sqm loft with an integrated kitchen. LIS attached great importance to sustainable construction techniques. Energy is supplied primarily via a heating pump and a photovoltaic system installed on the roof. LIS invested around EUR 2.4 million in the new building. (mw)
