Linking up with Indonesia's e-commerce market
Singapore Post and Pos Logistics have signed an MOU concerning cross-border logistics with Indonesia. With the Indonesian e-commerce market growing to USD 67.30 billion by 2027, the partnership aims to find ways to keep supply chains to and from the country efficient. It will offer services like linehaul, warehousing and route optimisation.
The first export shipment has taken place from Jakarta to France, with more European destinations to follow soon.
Ardian Cholid, CEO, Pos Logistics: “As we continue to support Indonesian e-commerce players in going global, we are confident to partner with Singpost. The combination of POS Logistics’ domestic capability and Singpost’s international network will greatly advance our export capability and result in an important commercial expansion for both sides.” (mk)
