Linking China and the Philippines
On 18 January, the CMA CGM affiliate APL is launching a new weekly China Southeast Asia Express (CSX) service that will connect Hong Kong, southern China and Taiwan to four ports in the Philippines - namely Subic Bay, Batangas, General Santos and Davao.
The new sailing will also provide access to three transhipment hubs – Hong Kong, Chiwan and Kaohsiung. The first departure will be from Hong Kong. The other ports of call are Chiwan, Kaohsiung, Subic Bay, Batangas, General Santos and Davao.
APL currently offers transcontinental cargo shipping across Asia, North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent and Australia through more than 120 weekly services calling ports in over 70 countries worldwide. (kd)
