Lineas to serve Wolfurt, Wels and Wien Süd
Terminal Service Austria (TSA) has gained a new partner. As from mid-December, Belgium-based rail freight operator Lineas will offer Xpress train services to TSA terminals in Wolfurt, Wels and Wien Süd.
Lineas trains will run from Antwerp in Belgium to Wolfurt three times a week with stops in Recklinghausen and Langweid-Foret in Germany. The partnership with Lineas gives Wolfurt an indirect link to the large port areas of Antwerp, Zeebrugge, Ghent and Rotterdam. The terminal in the Austrian state of Voralberg will also enjoy direct access to more than 20 regular Green Xpress train services across Europe.
Wels and Wien Süd will join the Xpress network, too. Lineas will offer three Green Xpress roundtrips per week to and from the Wien Süd terminal. Six mixed trains (three in each direction) per week will carry conventional and combined cargo along the Antwerp - Wels - Wien Süd and Bratislava route. (ben)
