Linde takes Europa sky high
Europa Warehouse has partnered with Linde Material Handling UK (Linde MH UK) to supply materials handling equipment (MHE) at its new GBP 60 million 3pl warehouse in Corby, Northants. The Corby warehouse comprises 66,500 sqm dedicated to logistics, on a 101,175 sqm site.
To maximise the height of the building, racking is built to nine levels and uses the very latest VNA technology supplied by Linde Material Handling UK. Linde MH UK is also supplying the sprinkler system, labels, barriers, safety mirrors and site management.
The 120 km of pallet racking spaces are in Europa corporate colours giving an added final touch. VNA trucks with a reach of up to 11,500 mm will be used to access the top locations. Wide aisle racking can be changed into narrow aisle racking as additional storage is required. The project provides an overall capacity of 97,000 locations. (mw)
