Lifetime achievement award for Corrado Cuccurullo
Corrado Cuccurullo, CEO for Shield Services, which provides offshore logistics servicers for dry bulk materials, technical and crew management of vessels, was honoured with the lifetime achievement award at the International Bulk Journal Awards in London.
The award is bestowed on executives who have made an outstanding contribution to the shipping and logistics sector during their careers. Shield Services, founded by Cuccurullo in 2018, emerged out of the offshore dry bulk logistics company Coeclerici Logistics and has gone from strength-to-strength, building a global portfolio of clients and projects in Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa and the Americas.
Collecting the award, Cuccurullo told the 500 guests from the bulk maritime sector: “I humbly accept this award on behalf my colleagues at Shield Services. This honour really means a lot to me personally and I would like to sincerely thank International Bulk Journal for this award.” (cj)
