Liebherr Group again posts record turnover
In 2022, Liebherr, one of the world’s largest construction equipment manufacturers, surpassed its previous turnover record from 2021 by EUR 950 million (8.2%) to reach EUR 12,589 million (net income of EUR 2 million).
In the six product segments - maritime cranes, aerospace and transportation systems, gear technology and automation systems, refrigerators and freezers, components and hotels - the group generated a total turnover of EUR 4,028 million, an increase of 11 % over the previous year.
Turnover posted a small uptick in the EU, which is traditionally the group’s strongest sales region. However, Liebherr showed an extremely positive development in North, Central and South America. The group also recorded an increase in Africa and the Near and Middle East. Turnover in Asia and Oceania was slightly above the previous year’s level. (lh)
