Levant next goal for CMA CGM
Marseille-based CMA CGM is launching a standalone NC Levant weekly service from the port of Southampton in the UK, connecting northern Europe with the Eastern Mediterranean and Levant region from 8 January 2021.
The NC Levant Express will deploy five vessels with capacities ranging from 3,800 to 4,200 teu. The rotation of 35 days involves the ports of Southampton, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Le Havre, Tangier, Malta, Alexandria, Damietta, Beirut, Mersin, Iskenderun and Algeciras before returning to Southampton. Ocean transit time references are Antwerp to Alexandria in twelve days, to Beirut in 14 days, from Mersin to Southampton twelve days and to Rotterdam 14 days. (cd)
