Leipzig and Verona now linked by eight trains
TX Logistik has further expanded its intermodal connection between Leipzig and Verona in order to meet increased market demand for rail transport capacity on this link, the rail logistics company said.
TXL, which is part of the Mercitalia Group, is now operating eight instead of the previous six weekly round trips between the two economic metropolises. The services run between the Duss terminal in Leipzig and the Sommacampagna-Sona terminal, located slightly west of Verona in Italy.
On its route over the Brenner Pass, the train also makes a regular stopover in Hall in Tyrol (Austria). All services are provided by TX Logistik. (ben)
