Leadership change at Broekman Logistics
Broekman Logistics has announced an official leadership change in its senior management. Former managing director forwarding & shipping Albert Hoek is to step down and hand over the helm to Rik Pek, managing director international freight forwarding and breakbulk terminals.
Hoek’s stepping down does not mean the end of his cooperation with Broekman Logistics. He will continue to be involved with the company in the role of exclusive senior consultant, starting today, 5 May 2020. “I would like to thank Hoek for all his efforts in building this strong foundation with such dedication for the past four decades,” says Pek.
Pek has been with Broekman Logistics for 15 years now, during the past five years as managing director breakbulk terminals. He will continue holding the role of managing director for both entities. This in line with Broekman Logistics’ renewed commercial process, which was initiated at the beginning of 2020 and combines both the freight forwarding and breakbulk business under one roof. (mw)
