LAX marks its most valuable month ever
In June 2022, Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) trade by value totalled USD 8.86 billion in imports and USD 6.07 billion in exports. The total of USD 14.9 billion is a single-month record, a 22.9% increase over June 2021 (and 16.6% more than in May 2022).
For H1/2022, trade at LAX was valued at USD 78.71 billion (+21.5%). Imports have led the way at USD 47.81 billion year-to-date while exports were valued at USD 30.9 billion. Those figures place LAX eighth among all ports of entry in USA, and third among all US airports.
