Laurels for Priority Freight
UK-based logistics provider Priority Freight has won the British Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2020, the UK's most significant recognition for business performance.
The Lord Lieutenant of Kent presented the award to Neal Williams, group managing director at Priority Freight at a special ceremony held at the company’s head office in Dover. Staff gathered to welcome the esteemed guest who is Her Majesty’s personal representative for Kent.
Priority Freight banks on time-critical solutions and qualified for the award with a reaction time of under 15 minutes and an on-time delivery rate of 99.6%. The coveted accolade was announced in 2020 but the awards reception at Buckingham Palace was unable to take place due to the pandemic. (sh)
