Launching freight insurance in Europe
After establishing its freight insurance services in North America, the company Loadsure is now planning to gradually expand in Western and Northern Europe. Effective immediately, Loadsure is approved to write business in Europe, with an initial focus on the Benelux region, Germany, France, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden.
The company built its market presence in North America, where it works with insurance wholesalers to provide automated, AI-based price predictions for freight insurance. It uses real-time data collection to provide insights on risks or theft hotspots.
Loadsure’s offering includes on-demand cargo insurance as well as products for ocean cargo and stock throughput. Led by Ben Brough as director of Europe, the service provider is looking to usher in an era of “holistic freight protection” to minimise the risks of freight forwarding and help smaller businesses get their operations insured.
