Latest OOCL vessel named
Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has named its latest eco-friendly vessel, "OOCL Denmark," the eleventh in their series of 24,188 teu ships built by Dalian Cosco KHI Ship Engineering.
The naming ceremony, held on 25 June, featured Rulin Fuong Tung as the vessel sponsor and Andy Tung, non-executive director of Orient Overseas (International) Limited, as the guest of honour.
“OOCL Denmark” will join her sister vessels on the Asia to Europe route, enhancing OOCL’s service with advanced and efficient equipment. OOCL’s director, Peter Pan, emphasised the company's commitment to providing greener services and navigating challenges alongside its customers and partners. (pb)
