Latam Cargo ships 110 pharma containers to Brazil
DSV and Latam Cargo have just successfully completed the transport of 110 RKN C-Safe containers with medicines.
The cargo, which required maintenance and monitoring throughout the flight with the containers to be kept at 5ºC (while the aircraft maintains its interior temperature between 15ºC and 25ºC), originated from a customer in the pharmaceutical industry and was shipped from Amsterdam to Brazil aboard three A350 aircraft flights.
In 2017, Latam Cargo Group became the first airline in the Americas to receive the CEIV pharma certification from Iata for its expertise and control in the transport of pharmaceuticals. In this new transportation project in partnership with DSV, the airline sees a confirmation of its capabilities "as one of the safest options for this product in the region". (ah)
