Latam Cargo flies to Mount Pleasant
Having been chosen to operate the service in December 2018 following a tender process agreed between the British and Argentinean governments to introduce a new international air link to Mount Pleasant, Falkland Islands, Latam Airlines Brazil has announced that its new weekly flight from São Paulo Guarulhos, Brazil – with a monthly stop in Cordoba, Argentina – is now on sale and will operate starting 20 November.
The carrier will fly the route using B767 aircraft, increasing the freight transport offer to the destination more than seven times. Initially, the company plans to transport perishable products in both directions.
By adding this service, Latam strengthens its Guarulhos hub, from where it serves over 33 destinations throughout South America as well as 14 cities in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia. (ah)
