Laso's transport for Leixoes
Laso Transportes, a Portuguese road haulier specialising in the transport of conventional goods and project cargo, recently took on a challenging assignment for its client Central de Cervejas in Santarém, 70 km from Lisbon. Some of the cargo exceeded 5.50 m in width. The transport arrived safely at its destination in the port of Leixões.
Founded in May 2007, Laso is a partnership of two specialised Portuguese transport companies - Transportes Lamarão and Solenha – Sociedade de Transportes Rodoviários. In 2010, the companies were merged into Laso. Based on a versatile fleet of 1,500 units and 750 employees, Laso is a major player in the special transport market in Portugal. (sh)
