Large order placed for Class 3 EV trucks
Mullen Automotive, a USA-based emerging electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has received an order for 1,000 trucks from vehicle dealer Randy Marion Automotive Group (RMA). The deliveries will commence in August 2023. The purchase order is valued at USD 63 million.
The Mullen Three model ordered by RMA is an efficient Class 3 LCF EV truck featuring a tight turning diameter of 11.5 m and excellent visibility for superior manoeuvrability on narrow city streets.
This versatile chassis provides a clean top-of-rail for easy upfitting with bodies up to 4.3 m long and over 2,630 kg of payload. The design of the LCF chassis also allows for more cargo volume within a given overall length. (ben)
