Lagermax gets two wheels rolling

To expand its two-wheeler logistics network in Europe, Lagermax Logistics Austria is taking over LVT Moto, a logistics company based near Barcelona.

LVT Moto has over 30 years of experience in the transport and storage of two-wheelers. The company is connected to Barcelona’s airport and the AP7 highway.

"Following the takeover of Molcargo in the Netherlands last year and the many years of in-house expertise, Lagermax Logistics is pursuing a clear growth strategy in European two-wheeler logistics with this acquisition," says Alexander Friesz, CEO of the Lagermax Group.

Lagermax is now present in 15 European countries. LVT Moto’s 36 employees and fleet of 80 trucks will remain with the company. Lagermax will also gain access to LVT Moto's Santa Perpetua de Mogoda site, a 3,000 sqm hub. (mk)
