Kukla at full throttle
With its eleven associated companies and the head office in Munich, Germany, intermodal and short-sea logistics provider Kukla transported 180,000 units and achieved a turnover of EUR 248.7 million in 2022, 22% more than in 2021.
According to the company, the expansion of the network via associated companies and the development of its own logistics products made a particular contribution to this above-average success. The associated companies even generated the lion's share (EUR 30 million) of the EUR 45.46 million increase in turnover.
The parent company in Munich also developed disproportionately well with a 14% uptick in turnover. The number of containers handled in the UK trade surged by 50% to 24,000. CEO Knut Sander again expects growth of about 20% for 2023. (ben)
