Kuehne + Nagel plans no dividends for the moment
Kuehne + Nagel's ordinary annual general meeting for this year will take place as scheduled in Schindellegi (Canton Schwyz, Switzerland) on Tuesday, 2 May 2020.
Pursuant to the guidelines issued by the Swiss federal council on the measures to combat the coronavirus shareholders cannot attend in person. However, shareholders can authorise and instruct the independent proxy in advance.
Due to the uncertainties surrounding the further development of the Covid-19 pandemic and the current economic environment, the board of directors will propose to the AGM 2020 to carry forward the retained earnings for the period ending 31 December 2019 to new account and not to determine a dividend at this point.
Should the business environment normalise over the course of the year, the board of directors may decide to convene an extraordinary AGM in order to vote on a possible dividend payment. (mw)
