KPI appoints head of alternative fuels
KPI Ocean Connect, a global marine energy provider, has appointed Jesper Sørensen to lead its ‘alternative fuels and carbon markets’ team globally. Sørensen will direct the company’s response to the energy transition from its office in Singapore, the world’s largest marine fuels market.
Sørensen joined KPI Ocean Connect in 2005 and worked as a sales manager in the company’s Singapore office before becoming its managing director.
After four years in this role, Sørensen will now lead a team of six experts from various offices in the company’s global network.
The team will monitor low-carbon and zero-carbon fuel options to inform clients, partners, and suppliers and propose innovative solutions for change in the shipping industry. (cj)
