Konecranes’ newest acquisition
Konecranes, a specialist provider of material handling solutions, recently acquired the industrial crane service operations of Munck Cranes, after this company entered into bankruptcy proceedings in late May.

With this takeover, Konecranes gains access to a large base of industrial cranes installed by Munck, building on a history of almost 100 years. There also will be opportunities for growth and the acquisition of new customers, as Munck Cranes was a well-recognised industrial crane manufacturer and service provider in Norway and an international exporter of crane components.
