Kombiverkehr augments intermodal offer
By adding the Rotterdam Europoort P&O terminal to its network, Frankfurt-based Kombiverkehr in Germany has further expanded the range of intermodal options by truck and rail in its services to and from the Netherlands for customers from the freight forwarding and logistics sector.
Kombiverkehr trains connect the terminal with the Ruhr area and Duisburg Ruhrort Hafen DUSS in Germany four times per week and direction. From the DUSS terminal customers can choose from a large number of gateway connections within Germany and across Europe.
There are no profile restrictions for semitrailers or containers. At the same time, Kombiverkehr has increased the number of departures on the link between Duisburg – Lovosice (Czechia) to four per week and direction. (ben)
