Knapen and Krone combine their strengths
The Krone Nutzfahrzeug group (Germany) is taking over 100% of the shares of the Dutch Knapen group. Krone and Knapen have signed a contract to this effect.
As a key player in the European market for moving-floor trailers, Kapen Trailers is now part of the Krone group, subject to approval by the competition authorities in both countries. The Krone group is a major European manufacturer of utility vehicles and feed harvesting technology.
With the merger, the companies intend to leverage synergies and pool their production and service expertise in their respective fields. As a company, Knapen will be managed independently under the umbrella of the Krone Nutzfahrzeug group. (ben)
