KN expands pharma chain network in Slovenia
Kuehne + Nagel (K+N) has opened a dedicated pharma & healthcare warehouse in Slovenia. The new facility, located close to Ljubljana airport, will distribute finished products worldwide and will also be used to store and distribute production materials for the pharmaceutical industry.
The around 38,000 sqm facility offers about 65,000 pallet locations for the reception, storage and distribution of temperature-sensitive products, and three cold chambers to handle temperature requirements of 15°C - 25°C and 2°C - 8°C.
Gianfranco Sgro, member of the managing board of K+N International, responsible for contract logistics, said: “The pharma & healthcare industry is among the most important growth drivers for my company.
