KN enlarges hub in El Paso
Kuehne + Nagel (KN) is consolidating four of its hubs under one roof to create a new facility in El Paso, Texas, in response to growing demand for cross-border operations and nearshoring.
On an area of over 33,700 sqm, the site features office space and vertical racked storage. With 54 dock doors and front and rear cross-dock capability, the hub is designed to reduce reception and offloading time, improving cargo flow.
Customers can also benefit from a consolidation of all customer care teams and new meeting room offerings. Based out of this new facility, KN can continue to expand its cross-border logistics between the USA and Mexico. The hub is set to open on 5 August of this year and generate around 145 jobs in the region. (mk)
