KLN strikes a deal in France
Kerry Logistics Network (KLN) has acquired a majority stake in a French forwarding company, enhancing its capabilities in the European and African markets.
Business By Air SAS (BBA) has been KLN’s agent for its French operations since 2016. During eight years of collaboration, the two companies have developed synergies in multimodal forwarding, customs clearance, and trucking.
BBA provides services along the supply chain and has established itself in African markets as well. One particular focus of the partnership will be on leveraging KLN’s ocean freight network and BBA’s specialisation in airfreight.
Kerry Logistics thus adds to its global network of 60 countries and territories. Its joint operations with BBA will also see it venturing into the fine arts and perishables logistics markets. (mk)
