Klinkner elected
The presiding board of the German multimodal industry association, Deutsches Verkehrsforum (DVF), elected Raimund Klinkner as its new chairman during its recent general meeting. The outgoing interim chairman Jörg Mosolf had held the post for a year. He said: "I wish my successor great success and good luck with managing DVF."
Klinkner thanked him for his confidence and added: "I am looking forward to the tasks that lie ahead of me. Prosperity is based on a flourishing economy and that is impossible without mobility. The companies that form the DVF have successfully taken this fundamental idea into account for 35 years. I want to ensure that the association is further strengthened and its voice is heard."
In addition, Uwe Brinks, CEO DHL Freight and Holger Ketz, CEO Kuehne + Nagel Germany became new members of the presiding board. (mw)
