Kiel's Port Award 2024 goes to ...
The maritime industry recently met in Kiel for the 39th ‘Sprottenback’ gathering in the ‘Längengrad’ restaurant at Kiel's Schwedenkai. With a view of the fjord and the Stena Line ferry dock, over 150 guests came together to celebrate the port of Kiel. As part of the traditional event, the Kiel Port Award was presented for the first time.
Mikko Juelich, managing director of Stena Line Deutschland, received the Port Award 2024 for his commitment in the areas of combined cargo transport and sustainability.
The award winner said: "I would like to thank you for the award, which I accept above all on behalf of my colleagues: only by working hard together can we move Stena Line forward, offer our customers the best possible service and grow together. The many years of good cooperation with our partners from the seaport make it easier for us to put our plans into practice." (cj)
