Kezad to build new Emirati logistics hub
Kezad Group, a developer of economic zones in the UAE, is building infrastructure projects worth AED 330 million in Abu Dhabi. The projects are part of AD Ports Group’s five-year organic capex programme scheduled for 2023-2027.
Kezad Al Ma’mourah Area B1 has been planned by Parsons. Aecom, an infrastructure consultancy, will design the secondary infrastructure within the food and auto hubs, while UAE-based Saif Bin Darwish has been contracted for the primary infrastructure in B1.
Area B1 will contain a logistics hub, media hub, light manufacturing, staff accommodation services, social amenities, etc.
With the Abu Dhabi Food Hub project, the city aims to strengthen its position as a local hub for food trade and distribution. Another project, the Global Auto Hub - Abu Dhabi, will feature showrooms, storage, spare parts, workshops, test tracks, in addition to logistics services. (mk)
