Kerry and My Jet's new Intra-Asian network
It is a cooperation on the ground and in the air: Kerry Logistics, headquartered in Hong Kong, and the Malaysian cargo airline My Jet Xpress Airlines, formerly known as Neptune Air, have inked an agreement for joint air freight options within Asia. Macau International Airport is the transit hub and thus the operational base of the new solution.
The beginnings of the cooperation date back to March 2021, when one of Kerry’s e-commerce customers needed help to obtain freight capacity from Macau into East Malaysia and Indonesia during the pandemic.
The new solution now provides seven to eight flights per week and will soon celebrate its 200th flight. My Jet Xpress and Kerry plan to extend their partnership by adding scheduled services from Kuala Lumpur and Shenzhen to destinations within Southeast Asia and the Indian subcontinent. (sh)
