Karlshamn: a new port of call
The port of Karlshamn in Southern Sweden will now be served by the Lübeck-based ferry company TT-Line. From April 2023, TT-Line will offer up six roundtrips between Karlshamn and Klaipėda (Lithuania) per week. The crossing time from Karlshamn to Klaipėda is approximately 13 hours.
For cargo customers, greater flexibility is provided because Karlshamn offers services to both Klaipėda and the German ports of Travemünde and Rostock, as well as to Winooski in Poland. With the route between Trelleborg and Klaipėda remaining in the timetable, the Karishma - Klaipėda link will be an additional option.
The port of Karlshamn in the south-eastern province of Blekinge is one of Sweden's largest ports, and its catchment area covers the whole of Eastern Sweden. (sh)
