Kadmar’s first green logistics park in Sokhna
The Kadmar International Group is building its first green logistics park in Sokhna Port, Egypt. The logistic park is the first ready-built warehouse to register for green certificate, providing further supply chain resiliency to businesses in Northern Africa.
The project showcases three blocks of warehouses, with a total surface of 109,000 sqm and is expected to be completed by Q4/2025. The property will offer a range of features such as automatic fire protection systems, a raised platform, loading docks, on-site facilities management, high floor loading and high ceiling height.
Sokhna Port is a gateway located within the Suez Canal Economic Zone, which handled close to 1 million teu in 2022. The warehouse will be 2.8 km from the DP World Terminal in the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZ).
Container services providers A P Moller, Hutchison, CMA CGM, Cosco, and Abu Dhabi Ports Group are also present in the area. Kadmar has been operating in Egypt since 1984. (pm)
