K Line bestows environmental awards
This is the seventh round of environmental awards since they were established in 2015. K Line has accepted many entries from group companies both in Japan and overseas. Activities of seven companies were selected, based on the criteria originality, challenge level, degree of contribution, continuity and potential for pervasiveness. The companies received the awards from the shipping company's president and CEO, Yukikazu Myochin.The winners of this year's K Line Group environmental awards are:
Grand Award, to Nitto Total Logistics: Recycling shrink films to reduce cost, industrial wastes and CO2 emissions.
Excellence Award, to Prixcar Services Australia, K Line China and Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, advanced technology group.
Special Award, to the Seagate Corporation.
