Joint food forces in Japan
In Japan, Zeek, an on-demand logistics technology platform, is partnering with the fast-food chain Yoshinoya. The aim is to hasten and expand Yoshinoya's business through Zeek Solutions, which offers SaaS solutions to F&B and retail businesses, including the establishment of an Yoshinoya-branded online channel.
Janet Yuen, CEO of Hung's Food Group, said: "Optimising customers' satisfaction in the food ordering process has always been one of Yoshinoya’s priorities. Zeek’s territory-wide delivery network will help Yoshinoya reach our customers easily from anywhere and at any time."
Since thhe opening of its first store in Japan in 1899, Yoshinoya has created around 2,000 stores worldwide, of which around 600 stores are in Northern China and 50 in Hong Kong- serving millions of rice bowls every month. (sh)
