Joining IT forces to secure port flows
France PCS and Orange Cyberdefense have announced the deployment of a joint ‘security operations centre’ (SOC) to monitor and protect France’s port community systems, managed by MGI and Soget. These platforms handle 99% of the country’s maritime import and export flows.
Announced during Sitl 2025, the initiative aims to reinforce cybersecurity in a context of growing digital threats. The SOC will provide 24/7 monitoring, real-time threat detection and rapid incident response.
“This level of protection is crucial to strengthening the resilience of port and logistics infrastructure,” said Julien Prével of Soget. The move reflects a shared ambition to safeguard national digital sovereignty and secure the entire supply chain.
France PCS, a public-private entity, plays a central role in port digitalisation and is now taking a major step towards cyber resilience with Europe’s leading cybersecurity services provider. (ah)
