Jafza enters phase 2
Jafza has launched phase 2 of its logistics park with an AED 90 million investment, adding 360,000 sqft of grade-A warehousing and office space.
This expansion follows the full lease of phase 1 prior to completion and supports growing demand for logistics infrastructure, as the company has reported. Located near Jebel Ali Port, the park offers temperature-controlled warehousing, loading docks and enhanced power capacity.
The development is in line with the UAE’s goal of expanding the logistics sector to AED 200 billion annually in the next seven years. Sustainable features include precast concrete and skylights to reduce energy use. Once complete, Jafza Logistics Park will cover over 922,000 sqft, supporting industries from e-commerce to automotive. Jafza currently hosts nearly 11,000 companies and facilitates AED 620 billion in annual trade. (js)
