Italian haulier buys 1,000 fuel save trucks
Lannutti Group has ordered 1,000 new Volvo FH with I-Save trucks after being blown away by the results of an in-depth trial of Volvo’s latest fuel-saving technology.
Operating in eight European countries with a total commercial vehicle fleet of 1,800, Lannutti Group put in place a comprehensive year-long fuel test, where the new Volvo FH with I-Save was compared with other trucks in a mixed fleet.
The result was a staggering fuel reduction of 10% compared to an equivalent standard truck with Euro 6 Step C engine. The ordered 1,000 vehicles will be delivered during 2021 and 2022. Lanutti offers a wide range of multimodal transport and logistics services. (ben)
