ISS builds a bridgehead in Trinidad
Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) has expanded its operations to Trinidad and Tobago with a new office in Chaguaramas and a bonded warehouse in Point Lisas. This move supports the offshore market and enhances the company’s service capabilities.
The Chaguaramas facility is in a major maritime hub for the offshore oil and gas sector, while the Point Lisas warehouse will improve storage and handling of spares, provisions, and equipment.
In a press release, Kishan Ramoutar, marine services manager, highlighted the importance of this expansion in addressing the growing needs of the maritime sector. The new facilities also offer customs brokerage and coordinated delivery services, improving logistics and supply chain solutions. This expansion aligns with Inchcape’s aim to meet its customer requirements wherever they operate. (pb)
