Investing in Italian infrastructure
The Italian Ceccarelli Group has opened a new logistics hub in Budoia, Pordenone. At EUR 5 million, it is the most important and largest single investment in the group’s history, the group’s president says. Inaugurated on 20 April, the hub was built on the site of a historic furniture factory.
Rather than using new land, Ceccarelli Group requalified the existing structures to create 16,000 sqm of warehousing space and 20,000 sqm of uncovered area. Office spaces, seven loading bays, and three flush-fitting doors are also featured at the site.
The expansion gives the company access to the growing industries and dynamic markets in the nearby Eastern Veneto and Tagliamento regions, where more infrastructure projects are currently in the pipeline. (mk)
