The new service connects the northwest China’s Ganzu Province with South Korea via rail and sea. The first freight train left Wuwei (Gansu Province) on Thursday, 15. June 2023, carrying 15 40-foot containers loaded with 300 t of magnesium chloride.

The train is now on route to north China's port in Tianjin, where the freight will be transloaded onto a ship and further delivered to Kunsan.
