Intermodal link from the Atlantic to the Rhone
A new train now runs between Bayonne on the Atlantic on the border with the Basque Country and Lyon in the Rhone-Alpes region in France. Initiated by the Mendy Group, the line was set up by Ederlog in cooperation with SNCF to deliver building materials by rail for the construction of a northern tramway in Villeurbanne, east of Lyon.
Ederlog is a subsidiary of the Mendy Logistics Group and specialises in multimodal transport. Its portfolio includes piggyback, sea, and road haulage services in Europe. (ben)
