Integrated logistics in Brunswick GA
Wallenius Wilhelmsen has officially opened a terminal in Brunswick, southern Georgia (USA), with an equipment and vehicle-processing centre, marking the significant expansion of its operations to and from the South Atlantic. The company recently signed a 20-year lease, with an option for 30 years, with the Georgia Ports Authority (GPA).
The purpose-built facility will accommodate growing domestic and international volumes, ensuring flexibility to meet evolving customer needs. Integrated services, including trucking by the company Keen and terminal and ocean offerings, will enhance supply chain efficiency.
The partnership with GPA underscores Wallenius Wilhelmsen's long-term commitment to the US market and operations in Brunswick. (pb)
