Improving service and control for hauliers
With its electronic Cargofleet 3 portal, Idem Telematics, a subsidiary of BPW Group, has integrated trailer and transport management data. Now hauliers will be able to manage transport data relating to specific trips and orders themselves and decide which specific end customers are to receive it.
For each individual trip, the haulier can monitor the transport operation and specifically forward data to the shipper or other partners – right down to the continuously updated estimated time of arrival and individually selected tracking information.
In addition, trip-specific temperature reports and consumption calculations can be specifically evaluated and forwarded with the Cargofleet 3 portal, Idem Telematics said. (ben)
