US-based software specialist Railinc has developed a cloud-to-cloud data sharing system that is now ready for implementation by railcar owners, lessors, and railroads. The platform includes more than two million pieces of North American rail, steamship, highway equipment and supports the daily data interchange of hundreds of thousands of railcars, Railinc said.
