Imperial logistics puts emphasis on automotive
South Africa-based Imperial Logistics has appointed Holger Wilhelm to the newly-created post of executive vice-president - automotive. Based in Zurich (Switzerland), he reports to the newly appointed Imperial Logistics International CCO Sandro Knecht.
Wilhelm has held a range of increasingly senior posts at logistics companies, working on automotive business in Germany, Poland, India and the USA. He joins Imperial Logistics from Ceva Logistics, where he was its US-based vice-president business development automotive - North America.
Wilhelm is the latest addition to the company's new sales structure, a key feature of which is vertical markets business development posts. Commenting on Wilhelm’s appointment, Sandro Knecht says: “Wilhelm has a long track record working in diverse geographies and cultures." (cd)
