Ikea opts for Glencar
Ikea has contracted the construction company Glencar in UK for a GBP 12 million fit out project. In Ikea’s 150,000 sqm new distribution centre, located at the former Littlebrook Power Station site on the south bank of the River Thames in London, the project involves the installation of racking and sprinkler equipment and the furnishing of offices.
The works will also include the construction of a new additional storage unit in the service yard, a security gatehouse, vehicle ramps and fencing adaptions. (sh)
