IHRO increases storage capacity
The medium-sized forwarding group IHRO is celebrating its 60th anniversary in September this year. Kai Ihro, managing partner of the group: "Today we provide warehouse logistics at five locations in our region on a total area of 20,000 sqm."
IHRO is also developing another project. "We have bought another plot of land in Neuenstein spanning 17,000 sqm, which has room for around 8,200 sqm of logistics storage facilities."
IHRO specialises in transports for jumbo transports and clocked automobile transports. In addition to warehouse logistics, regional transports have become the fourth mainstay in recent years. The group with headquarters in Neuenstein and another company in Czechia employs about 400 people. "With EUR 47 million, our turnover was 15% higher in 2022 than in 2019 before the pandemic." (mk)
