ID Logistics ends 2022 on a high
The French Group ID Logistics achieved a turnover of EUR 686.3 million in Q4/2022, an upswing of almost 25% compared to 2021 (and +4.7% like-for-like). Generated revenue also rose significantly to more than EUR 2,5 billion for 2022, a growth of 31.3% (and 11.3% like-for-like). The uptick can be attributed to new clients, renewed contracts and acquisitions.
All in all, the group launched 16 new sites over the year. For example, Ursus Breweries, a Romanian beer producer, entrusted ID Logistics with its warehousing operations on an 18,000 sqm site in Timisoara. In Poland, ID Logistics inked an agreement for a second distribution centre for Auchan with a surface area of 54,000 sqm designed to be used for the distribution of ambient and temperature-controlled products.
Furthermore, Nespresso renewed its contract in USA, after ID Logistics acquired Kane Logistics in early 2022. ID Logistics also set up its own affiliate in Italy.
In Q4/2023, the group finalised the sale of its eight sites in Russia to its customers or to their partners. All activities in Russia have ceased since January 2023. (sh)
